MISCONDUCT AND ABUSE POLICY




We adhere to a strict zero tolerance policy at Snowblind BJJ and any affiliates. Any employees have completed a background check and are fully SafeSport trained and compliant.


We do not allow any bullying, sexual abuse, or any other abuses of power in or out of the gym and will report them accordingly.


We do not discriminate and do not tolerate discrimination based on actual or perceived race, color, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, age, marital status, family or parental status.


We do reserve the right as a private business to refuse service and presence on our premises to anyone

for any reason.


We do not allow:


*Recording without consent from all parties (for security purposes the school records some/all classes but does not allow such recordings to be used or shared)

*Any language or imagery perpetuating hate/discrimination or similar ideology. This includes hate speech or beliefs excused or attributed to any religion.

*Law enforcement participating in training without disclosing the fact of their employment to management.



Our reporting policy:


If you have a concern that anyone has violated any of these policies we require that you report the violation immediately. We affirm that all such reports will be anonymous and no one will ever be subject to any retribution or consequence past what is legally required.


Please report all issues as follows:

*If appropriate report to a coach to ensure the person can be removed from the situation

*Report to law enforcement if the issue is ongoing or any potential risk exists (A coach will report to law enforcement if you reported to them first)

*If such an issue involves a coach or other person in a position of power do not involve them and instead ONLY report to law enforcement and SafeSport
